Southern Africa
The South Africa Collectors' Society Webmaster Otto Peetoom
The Official Website of The South Africa Collectors' Society was constructed entirely from scratch starting in December 2013, after six weeks of work, it went live on 27 January 2014. Since then it has evolved time and again with improved layout and new content. By the late September 2017 the site has registered 17,400+ hits.
We have achieved a top ranking and whether one googles the name of the society, Southern Africa Philately or other associated words we invariably appear as No 1 at the top of the page. Any search 'by image' delivers the same result as every single image enjoys an appropriate title.
As a keen lifelong Philatelist I constantly research many aspects of South and Central African Philately and since 1993 I have published my own magazine entitled The Rhodesian Philatelist. I have written numerous articles that have been published in several Journals which include Gibbons Stamp Monthly, The South African Philatelist, The Springbok and a number of them have been posted on this website.
